5 questions/Mixed/Multiple Choice
From a familiar chorus to a perfect fifth.
Identify the artists behind well-known albums, recognise classical composers and untangle a little music theory. This is a text quiz, so everyone can join without speakers, headphones or a streaming subscription. Build balanced teams by mixing the person who knows every chorus with the person who reads music. After a question about an interval or instrument, ask players to hum or tap an example if they want; the extra demonstration keeps a text-only music quiz lively.
Mix listeners and musicians across teams. Knowing an album and reading a time signature are different strengths.
Make this round work for your group.
10–20 minutes
Give listeners and musicians mixed teams so album knowledge and music theory both have room to shine.
Award one point for each answer; do not require audio recognition or outside apps.

Good to know
Do I need to recognise audio clips?
No. All questions are written. You identify artists, instruments and musical facts from the wording alone.
Will questions repeat?
There are 15 questions in this topic: five at each difficulty. A round never repeats a question. New rounds shuffle the collection, so questions can return across rounds.
Can we play together on different phones?
This version runs a round on one shared screen. It does not create online rooms or sync scores between devices.
