Your geography trivia round

Question count
Difficulty
Question type

5 questions/Mixed/Multiple Choice

Take a trip without leaving the table.

Travel through capitals, rivers, deserts and borders. The easy round starts with recognisable places; harder questions ask which strait separates two countries or where to find the world's deepest lake. Keep a paper map beside the screen for the discussion after each answer. Players must choose first, then use the map to trace a river, locate a strait or compare two capitals. This keeps the free geography quiz about reasoning rather than quick searching.

After an answer, ask if anyone has visited the place. Save looking at a map until the group has chosen.

Good to know

Are there map or flag images?

This collection uses written questions. You can play without reading a map or identifying a flag image.

Will questions repeat?

There are 15 questions in this topic: five at each difficulty. A round never repeats a question. New rounds shuffle the collection, so questions can return across rounds.

Can we play together on different phones?

This version runs a round on one shared screen. It does not create online rooms or sync scores between devices.
