10 cards/Any Group/Light
A story to tell or a small performance to give.
Choose Truth for a personal but light question, or Dare for a playful task you can do with the group. Expect cooking mishaps, unusual habits and improvised performances rather than stunts or pressure to reveal a secret. Set the boundaries before the first card: no dangerous actions, unwanted touching or private disclosures, and a pass is always accepted. A host can keep the pace by offering two nearby objects or a short performance instead of inventing a bigger dare.
Let the player choose their own comfort level. A cheerful pass should move the game along as easily as a completed dare.
Make this round work for your group.
10–30 minutes
Let the current player choose a deck, explain that passing is fine and keep every dare voluntary and safe.
No score is required. If you want a structure, give a token for a completed card and stop before it becomes pressure.

Good to know
Do the dares need equipment?
The dares use your voice, imagination or ordinary nearby objects. No special kit is required.
Can we switch from a dare to a truth?
Yes. Select the other deck at any time. Each deck has its own shuffled order during a session.
How many people can play?
Three to twenty people can take turns. For a bigger room, nominate one host to read cards while the current player chooses the deck.
Are the dares safe for children?
Choose cards with an adult present, skip anything unsuitable and keep every action voluntary. There are no required stunts, touching or private disclosures.
Can a player pass?
Always. A player can skip a card, switch decks or stop their turn without explaining why.
How do we keep the game moving?
Give a player one card, allow a short response, then pass the device. Save long stories for a separate conversation break.
Do we need a winner?
No. Truth or Dare is usually more enjoyable without points. If you want a finish line, play a fixed number of turns rather than ranking personal answers.
